Introduction

Hello, I’m Teila and this is my daughter Verity. I am a registered, fully qualified Childminder and member of the NCMA (National Childminding Association), with public liability insurance (and CRB disclosure). My training has been completed under the Early Years Foundation Stage (which sets the standards for learning, development and the care of children from birth to the end of Foundation Stage), and I am continuing with vocational training. My Ofsted report grading is good/outstanding

As well as being an experienced nanny, I am also a trained Breastfeeding Supporter and Associate Member of the BfN (Breastfeeding Network).

Before becoming a mother and retraining as a Childcare provider I worked in Advertising and Marketing and as an Actress. References (and a resume) can be provided upon request.

First a little about us, we (my husband Andrew and I, he’s a freelance Photographer) discovered what is broadly termed 'attached parenting' (and slings in a big way!) following the birth of our daughter. A year later I decided to retrain in Childcare provision in order to spend more time with my daughter and with children, who never cease to delight and amaze me. We provide a caring, nurturing relaxed family environment, that supports active and fun learning and can cater to the specific needs of each individual child. I feel very lucky to partner children (along with there parents/carers) on their special journeys.
