This web site is dedicated to users of materials testing instruments manufactured by Nene Instruments, Davenport-Nene, Deltalab-Nene and Plint & Partners (DN).
Since 1980, these companies have been making lead screw and servo-hydraulic test equipment for measuring the properties of materials. They have tended to specialize in rubber components for the automobile industry, where they are frequently used for the evaluation of the quality of manufacture of car components.
Throughout its existence, the company has had to struggle for financial viability. This has not been due to a lack of manufacturing quality, but rather to a tendency to take on unusual and challenging projects that in retrospect should perhaps have been left alone. As a result, the company has, at least for the moment, ceased trading.
The purpose of this web site is to explain to current users of DN equipment how they may obtain service and support.
Since retiring, I have been amusing myself creating websites. Please visit them.
